Stephanie J. Ryan,
b. 1967, Atlanta, GA. 
Stephanie J. Ryan is a studio artist and art educator, who lives and works in Fresno, CA. Ryan holds a BFA in Printmaking from Washington University, St. Louis and an MFA from the University of Arizona, Tucson. She has served as a Serigrapher's Apprentice at Handprints , as a Studio Art Assistant in Drawing/Painting at Anderson Ranch Art Center , as an adjunct at the University of Arizona, Tucson, and Mesa Community College, and as a Printmaking Professor/Sabbatical Replacement at Truman State University . Since 2000, she has served as Professor of Art in Drawing/Painting at California State University, Fresno.
 
A prolific studio artist, her work has been exhibited widely, nationally and internationally (Glasgow, Paris, London). Her work is included in many private and public collections as well (Corcoran College of Art & Design, the Glasgow City Art Collection, Scotland, the Mesa Public Arts Portable Collection, Arizona, the St. Louis Center for Contemporary Arts, St. Louis, MO.)
